Hi, I'm Dr. Shaw
I work with women and mothers to Harness the Power of Nature. The world needs healthy mothers.
Naturopathic Doctor and Chiropractor
This clinic was designed to improve the experience of being a woman in today's world. Dr. Shaw uses naturopathic and chiropractic care to bridge the gap between traditional practices and modern healthcare while providing a safe and nurturing atmosphere. She harnesses the healing power of nature through her work with herbs, physical medicine, lifestyle modification, and nutritional therapy. Her style is gentle and safe for all ages. Her practice is built for families, you will commonly see children and pregnant women getting adjusted. People who recognize a need for self-care, find that they belong here.
Shaw Family Practice was born from the rough experiences Dr. Shaw had growing up and seeing the women around her having their stories ignored, silenced, and seeing families suffer because of the maternal figures falling ill. The caregivers feeling their health had to come last. Dr. Shaw watched as her mother struggled to have medical conditions addressed. She vowed to change healthcare as a result.
At the National University of Health Sciences, she earned two doctorates the first was a Doctor of Chiropractic, and the second a Doctor of Naturopathic Medicine. She also has completed advanced training through the International Chiropractic Pediatric Association, certified in Webster Technique to care for pregnant patients, and Certified from the Academy Council on Chiropractic Pediatrics for all the children whose loving family brings them into this office. Dr. Shaw is a member of the American Chiropractic Association, Colorado Association of Naturopathic Doctors, an executive committee member of the Pediatrics Council for the ACA.
Dr. Shaw continues to train and learn advanced techniques to care for her patients, the people who trust her with their health. As a mother to an active boy and wife of a physicist, life is never boring. She finds ways to incorporate nature in all areas of her life and is happiest with a cup of tea or hiking with her family.
